Foreign ministry spokesperson has said regime in Manama has been moving in the path to create a political impasse.

Mr. Bahram Ghasemi who was responding officially to execution of 3 Bahraini activists Sunday by Al-Khalifa regime, said that the execution garnered for Manama international condemnation and ignominy; “the lack of transparency in trial of these 3 citizen-activists is testament to the fact the Bahraini regime would not seek to solve the problem and a way out of the political impasse it has created and has been moving to even intensify that,” Ghasemi added.

“The regime has resorted to violent and aggressive measures to quell an unarmed civilian movement; it is unfortunate that leaders of the uprising have all emphasized on dialogue with the government to peacefully settle the issue; however, all calls for such possible confrontations had received reactions which seek to create a political impasse with no ends visible in the horizon,” Ghasemi emphasized.

“Such tactics will definitely have far-reaching consequences for the regime which so far has defied the common sense and conventional codes of conduct,” he concluded
