Lebanon’s Caretaker PM Welcomes World Bank Delegation
Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab welcomed Minister of Economy Raoul Nehme and a World Bank delegation comprising Wissam Harakeh and Halim El-Sayyed, in the presence of PM’s Advisor, Leila Dagher. The meeting deliberated on the WB-funded projects.
Premier Diab also welcomed the new Russian ambassador in Lebanon, Alexander Rudakov, in the presence of Ambassador Gebran Soufane, with talks featuring Lebanese-Russian relations.
PM Diab also met with Solidarity Party leader, former MP Emile Rahme who wished the formation of a new government as soon as possible in order to move the country forward.
The secretary-general of Lebanon’s resistance movement of Hezbollah says the Israeli regime's "life is reaching its end", stressing that even normalization deals will fail to protect the occupying regime.
Iranian Parliament Speaker’s Special Aide for International Affairs said that the United States, Saudi Arabia and France are pursuing a policy to weaken Resistance in Lebanon.
