Lebanon Records 1389 New Coronavirus Infections with 6 Related Deaths
Lebanon on Sunday registered 1,389 new coronavirus cases with 6 related fatalities, Health Ministry announced.
In its daily report, the ministry said 1,384 new infections were recorded among local residents, while the other 5 cases were imported, raising the total infections nationwide since February to 64,336.
8,766 PCR tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, including 1,153 at Beirut International Airport, according to the report.
6 new fatalities were registered over the past 24 hours, raising the nationwide death toll to 643, the ministry added.
790 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, including 270 at the ICU rooms, the report added, noting that the number of recoveries reached 42,904.
