The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) unveiled a homegrown multiple ballistic missile launcher on Wednesday.
The automated and smart system, used for launching multiple long-range ballistic missiles, has been manufactured by the IRGC Aerospace Force, Tasnim news agency reported.
The homegrown missile launcher system was unveiled by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami.
“The launch of our missiles rattles the enemy. Our missile power guarantees the withdrawal of enemies,” the IRGC commander said in the unveiling ceremony.
He also said that the deterrent and defense capabilities give Iran huge power that helps the country demonstrate its political will and impose it on the enemy if necessary.
Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the arms sphere.
Delivering a live televised speech on the occasion of the National Teachers’ Day and International Workers’ Day (May Day), Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei rejected on Sunday the Western powers’ call on Iran to pursue submissive diplomacy in the West Asian region and saying that the IRGC Quds Force is the main pillar of Iran’s diplomacy in the region.
Announcing the end of his visit to the Persian Gulf countries, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reiterated that glimmers of hope and positive signs are seen in Vienna talks and regional talks.
The commander of the IRGC navy said that the IRGC and the Army authoritatively monitor any move of the enemy and ships entering the waters of the Persian Gulf.
