Syrian air defenses confronted a dawn on Wednesday an Israeli aggression on the southern region.
The aerial attack killed three Syrian soldiers, injured one other and caused material damage, SANA news agency reported.
“At about 03:11 a.m. on Wednesday, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan that targeted the southern region as the Syrian air defenses confronted it and downed a number of rockets,” the agency quoted a military source as saying.
“Three soldiers were martyred in the aggression, and a soldier was injured, in addition to causing material damages,” the source added.
For its part, Israeli occupation forces confirmed the attack, claiming the Zionist warplanes “attacked military targets belonging to the Iranian Quds Force and the Syrian military tonight in Syria.”
