Lebanese Security Forces Arrest Number of Vandals in Tripoli

The Lebanese security forces raided on Tuesday several neighborhoods in Tripoli city, arresting a number of violent protesters who vandalized public properties last week.

 

According to Al-Manar reporter, the security forces also removed protest tents erected in Abdul Hamid Karami Square in the city.

Last week, a large number of protesters demonstrated against the deteriorating socioeconomic conditions in Lebanon. However, some vandals utilized the protests to attack public headquarters, attacking the serail and incinerating the municipal palace in the city.
