Palestinian Muslims attend Friday prayer at al-Aqsa mosque
Palestinian Muslims attend Friday prayer at the Dome of the Rock in al-Aqsa mosque compound after 45 days of closure due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The large number of Palestinian worshippers managed to enter the mosque despite restrictions imposed by the Israeli regime that prevented many more from attending the prayers.
In his Friday prayer sermon, the imam of the mosque condemned the recent insulting moves in France, including publication of offensive cartoons of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
He underlined the need for boycotting French products in response to such moves.
The Israeli regime usually imposes restrictive measures preventing Palestinians from going to Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform Friday prayers.
Israeli authorities recently justify the move as part of the complete lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This is while Zionist settlers raid the mosque every now and then under police protection and without any restrictions.
