SDPN to hold panel discussion on Aqsa mosque status
Iran-based pro-Palestinian NGO, the Society in Defense of the Palestinian Nation (SDPN) will hold a panel discussion on the anniversary of an arson attack by Zionist Israelis on the holy al-Aqsa mosque in the occupied al-Quds (‘Jerusalem’) in 1969.

Iran-based pro-Palestinian NGO, the Society in Defense of the Palestinian Nation (SDPN) will hold a panel discussion on the anniversary of an arson attack by Zionist Israelis on the holy al-Aqsa mosque in the occupied al-Quds (‘Jerusalem’) in 1969.
The meeting is set to listen to Hojjatoleslam Rahimian, the guardian of Jamkaran Mosque who will speak on the role of mosques in the development of the resistance culture, and Islamic Jihad movement’s representative in Tehran, Naser Abu Sharif who will speak on the role of the Palestinian community in safeguarding the first Muslim qibla in the occupied al-Quds.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque was burnt on August 21, 1969, by Israeli-Australian extremist, Michael Rohan, who set the mosque ablaze and the fires totally consumed the historic Salah Ed-Deen Bench, and the southeastern roof of the mosque.
