Amir Abdollahian: US, France, Saudi Seek to Weaken Lebanon

Iranian Parliament Speaker’s Special Aide for International Affairs said that the United States, Saudi Arabia and France are pursuing a policy to weaken Resistance in Lebanon.

In a tweet on Thursday, the Iranian diplomat said that the three countries are pursuing a policy of having a weak government. According to Abdollahian, such behavior aims at suing discords and weakening the Resistance in Lebanon, noting that this policy is the second phase of normalizing of ties with the Zionist entity and thus weakening Lebanon itself. “Undoubtedly, the trio of Resistance, Lebanese Army and Government is main winner,” Abdolahian wrote in a tweet posted in Persian, Arabic and English languages. “Iran firmly supports Lebanon’s security and stability, as well its dynamic economy,” the diplomat stressed.
