enemy of Muslim unity is enemy of Islam

Secretary General of the Global Assembly of Proximity among Muslims, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki says Muslim unity was detrimental for enemies of Islam, adding anyone who runs against Muslim unity was an enemy of Islam.

“The holy Koran rejects division,” he said, adding the ISIS rulers were criminals and microbes that have attacked the body of Islam. The Secretary General said enemies hope that they could undermine the Islamic thought through the Muslims’ own means and resources. Ayatollah Araki noted that unity by no means require Muslims to abandon their ideas, rather it is to keep ranks with other Muslims while keeping one’s own ideas and thoughts. He added that Muslims have many things in common, including their divine book, their Messengers, and their Qiblah. The scholar said enemies seeks to set afire the Muslims community through schism and draw the unanimous Muslim ummah to division and internal rift. The Global Assembly of Lovers of Ahl ul-Beit will be staged in late November in Tehran in the presence of over 600 foreign guests.
