Iranian Intelligence Minister says Israel has currently relinquished the idea of Nile to Euphrates state and instead strives to survive in the region  Iranian Intelligence Minister, Sayyed Mahmoud Alawi says Israel has currently relinquished the idea of Nile to Euphrates state and instead strives to survive in the region, facing the regional developments.   The minister made the remarks in a conference on Gaza resistance in Tehran on Saturday.   The minister said the flag of anti-Israeli resistance was hoisted by the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini and was kept hoisted by his successor, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.   “The Zionist regime was fabricated illegitimately and continued its life illegitimately based on the unjustifiable idea of a nation-less land for a landless nation,” Alawi said.   The minister added that Britain planted Israel in the region in a bid to destroy Islam   The conference was organized by the Society in Defense of the Palestinian Nation (SDPN).   Titled “Gaza, symbol of resistance,” it was the seventh edition of the conference.  Other major attendees included SDPN Secretary General, Zahra Mosatafavi, SDPN member, Mohammad Hassan Rahimian as well as representatives of the Palestinian resistance movements in Tehran.   The conference aimed to remember the brave perseverance of the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip during the 22-day onslaught.
