Sayyed Nasrallah speaks Monday on marking Muharram amid spread of coronavirus

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah will speak tonight on commemorating Ashura amid the spread of coronavirus.

The speech will be broadcast at 20:30 (Beirut time) via Al-Manar. “I will be tackling Ashura ceremonies next Monday,” Sayyed Nasrallah said in a speech marking the fourteenth anniversary of Divine Victory last Friday. Hezbollah and Amal movement announced last week in a joint statement there will not be crowds during Ashura this year, calling on believers to abide by stay-at-home measures and watch mourning ceremonies via TV channels.
