Hezbollah MP Meets PM-Designate: Ready to Cooperate

Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance Parliamentary bloc leader MP Mohammad Raad told PM-designate Mustapha Adib on Wednesday that the party is fully ready to cooperate in a bid to form the new government.

“We are fully aware of the difficulty and delicacy of the current stage, and we hope that the new government will assist the anticipated aid through the strict implementation of the required and agreed-upon reforms,” Raad said, as quoted by local media. “We seek an effective, productive, and coherent government. Reforms need to combat corruption. Our national constants, and our commitment to the constitution and the National Charter are clear,” affirmed the lawmaker. Earlier on Wednesday, Adib started non-binding consultations with the deputies at Speaker Berri’s residence in Ain al-Tineh. Source: Agencies
