Lebanon Records 415 New Coronavirus Cases, 4 Related Deaths

Lebanon registered 415 new coronavirus cases with four related deaths, Ministry of Public Health announced late Sunday.

  In its daily report, the ministry said that the number of coronavirus cases reached in Lebanon 20,426 since February 21, when the first infection was announced. Of the new 415 cases, 396 were registered among local residents, while the other 19 cases were imported, the ministry noted. 4 new coronavirus-deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll nationwide to 191, according to the report. 8,996 PCR tests were conducted over the past 24 hours, the ministry said, adding that 2,162 of them were conducted at Beirut International Airport. 366 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, including 106 at the Intensive Care Units (ICU). The number of recoveries reached 6,139, the ministry added.
