Zionists' hostility threatens Syrian territorial integrity

Iran’s FM spokesperson said repeated aggressions of Zionists against Syria undermines sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Arab country and strengthen terrorists.  Bahram Ghasemi, while seriously condemning aggressive and frequent attacks of the Zionist regime on Syria, deemed them as contrary to all laws and international standards.  “Undoubtedly, these attacks are aimed at weakening the legitimate government of Syria and are flagrant violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent member of the United Nations,” highlighted the official asserting that the measures taken by Israeli regime were against global peace and security.  Spokesperson of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that such aggressive treatments were in line with strengthening Takfiri-Zionist terrorists who are getting closer to deterioration and destruction on the battlefield.  At the end of his remarks, Ghasemi urged international communities, UN in particular, not to remain silent in the face of these aggressions which destabilize regional and global security and to duplicate their efforts to prevent recurrence of similar incidents.
