Lebanese Presidency Refers Forensic Audit Text of House of Representatives’ Resolution to Presidency of Council of Ministers

The Presidency of the Republic referred the text of the decision issued by the Parliament regarding “Subjecting the accounts of the Central Bank, ministries, independent interests, councils, funds and public institutions, in parallel, to forensic audit without any hindrance or invoking banking secrecy or otherwise”, to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

The Presidency of the Republic requested that the initiative takes legal and practical measures in forensic audit, focused on the accounts of the Central Bank and relevant authorities, in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 3, dated 26/3/2020. Source: NNA
