Palestinian Resistance Groups to Hold First Joint Military Exercise

Palestinian Resistance groups announced on Wednesday they will hold first ever joint exercise soon.

In a statement, the Joint Chamber of Military Operations for Palestinian Factions said the Resistance groups were fully ready to conduct for the first time joint military drill. The chamber said the drill comes as part of bolstering cooperation between Palestinian Resistance groups and in a bid to show continuous efforts aimed at raising their military readiness. It said that more details on time of the exercise to be announced later, calling on media outlets to cover the event responsibly and to resort to official sources in this regard. For his part, Israeli analyst and Palestinian affairs correspondent Elior Levy said that the military arms in Gaza will hold a large-scale exercise, noting that the drill will take place on Sunday. “As part of the exercise, rockets will be launched into the sea plus extensive military activity,” the Israeli journalist said in a tweet, describing the drill as ‘unusual’.
