Lebanon Records 3469 Coronavirus Cases with 52 Related Deaths during Past 24 Hours

The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Thursday its daily report in which it announced 3469 new coronavirus cases, 3467 of them for locals and 2 among the arrivals, raising total to 366302.

  The report added that 19681 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 281194. According to the report, 52 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 4560. Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of Pfizer vaccines are scheduled to arrive in the country on a weekly basis. Moreover, on February 22, the country started the second phase of the four-phase plan to ease a total lockdown and reopen the economic sectors which took into effect on the eight of the same month.
